I can't even begin to describe how amazing this place is! I have been over a dozen times and it is consistently delicious. I have tried almost their entire menu over the past three years and these are a few of my favorites: BEST PIZZA: The flaming lips!!! The combination of spicy, savory, and sweet is addictive. The best pizza I have ever had. BEST SALAD: The wedge. The dressing is incredible and pairs so well with all of the other ingredients. BEST PASTA: The lamb bolognese. The lamb and bacon go so well together and it has so much flavor. BEST DEAL: Their double down lunch special! You get half a pizza and half a salad for only $13! It's from 11-4 every day and easily big enough to share with someone! Overall, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Everything is consistently delicious. The service is always outstanding, and the ambiance is fancy but chill at the same time. This is my go to place whenever someone asks me where I want to go to eat in Phoenix.

One of our fave spots for pizza in phoenix. Salads are tasty, particularly the panzanella. The Detroit pies are especially delicious, would recommend the dirty crust. White fig add pancetta with a dirty crust is to die for. Beer selection is also quite good with something to please everyone, and some wine if they don't like beer.

The service is always phenomenal, and the vibe in the restaurant is great! Nice, retro feel without being kitschy or overdone. The At Last pizza is an all-time fave (the dough/crust is airy, crisp, but chewy -- everything you'd expect from a Neapolitan-style pizza), but I truly haven't had a bad thing on the menu. Truly a local gem!

Ah Federal Pizza. I have eaten here in person and had delivery. This time was delivery and it arrived cold. No fault of the restaurants as they didn't deliver it, but it made the food not as good as usual. It was a 3 star this time, but they are usually 4. The Garlic bread was great with the "spicy" marinara. I do with it had some more spice though. Make us sweat! The pepperoni pizza had a crispy artisan crust with tiny pepperonis that cup when it cooks. These are the only pepperonis I want from now on! The wings were your average buffalo wings BUT, with their homemade ranch... yum! The ranch takes the cake here. I could probably drink it. I will be back here for sure, but in person, no take away or delivery. This type of pizza doesn't hold well over time.

Great spot for pizza! Driving through Phoenix, I searched on Yelp, and I understood why this was at the top of the list. The pizza was delicious. The ambiance is beautiful, and the staff is friendly! If I ever drive through Phoenix again, this is the place to stop by.

Federal is the last of the Postino family restaurants I had yet to try, and it definitely lived up to the great food and service of all the other locations. It was a busy Friday night, but we were able to get seats and the bar right away and had the most wonderful bartender serve us. He gave wonderful wine recommendations and was very accommodating to my indecisiveness by letting me sample 2 of the reds before making up my mind. The bolognese pasta was so delicious and was the perfect amount, no left overs here! They were also able to do a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza which was great so that we were able to try out 2 different pizzas and now know that the prosciutto pizza with arugula is the winner. A great vibe for happy hour or date night!

My favorite pizza place hands down! Every time I try somewhere else I compare it to Federal Pizza and it just doesn't compare. My go to pizza is always the Casanova. If you order this get it for dine in only not take out . Doesn't taste the same. My gf likes the Pineapple Express and it has gotten spicier. The manifesto is ok the Casanova is where it's at. They have a great lunch special half a pizza and half salad. My favorite salad are the Caprese, chop, and Caesar. Plenty of food for 13.50. There is also a late happy hour special pizza and a bottle of wine for $30. This place gets packed so there can be a big wait. But it's well worth it!! It gets cold in there so bring a sweater lol

Came here for lunch around 11:30. We had a party of 3 and were sat right away. We all did the lunch special for $13.50. The lunch special comes with half a pizza, and half a salad. It's definitely worth it! You get lots of salad and pizza options to choose from. I did the Pineapple Express with Caesar salad. It was really good!! The service was a little slow for being on a quick lunch break for work. But they do have a drive through or order online for pickup! I can't wait to come back and try more on the menu!

Love this spot!!! All their pizza is so good, and they have a great lunch deal where you can get half a pizza and half a salad for $12 which is a steal!! I've been here a few times already, and my favorite pizzas are probably the Casanova with the arugula and prosciutto and the Detroit style pizza with hot honey. Their salads are also great as well. We always have great service here. Vibes are great. Have never really had to wait for a table, but it's never too empty. They have a bar inside and outdoor seating as well. Parking can be tricky at busy times since there's a lot of great restaurants in this area. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Placed an order for pick-up while we were in the area. Great gluten-free pizza here! SiSi helped us, and she was awesome. Not just because we had service with a smile, but because she took the time to answer questions about ingredients, and even talked to the staff in back to get answers. If you are gluten-free because of celiac disease or an allergy, let them know. They will bake it in a separate oven and make sure to use a clean pizza cutter. If you just order gluten-free without specifying allergy, it will be baked with all the other pizzas. Also, they cannot guarantee cross contamination. Not many places do. Since April, they have officially had a full bar! Specialty cocktails, local craft beers including 4 Pigs, and Greenwood. A nice wine list, also offering some local brands, italian etc.. They rotate both! It is warmer than most places on a hot day in the early afternoon. Not too bad. Love that they have a drive-thru, though I haven't taken advantage of it yet. They have always been busy, yet still attentive, super friendly, and fast every visit. Our gluten-free cheese pizzas were great. They have the loose flour at the bottom of the pizza which makes it taste like a traditional pizza. I was assured it was just rice flour. The crust is so yummy, that it makes Federal one of our favorite local pizza places. Definitely tastes best fresh! Yummy food, great service every time makes Federal's a go-to place we can't pass when in the area.
